Forty is a slaver at Paradise Falls and is Eulogy Jones' (fairly dim-witted) second-in-command in the year 2277.
Contents |
[edit] Background
Eulogy's second in command earned his nickname from the fact that, throughout his life, he's killed 40 men. However, killing slaves is something Forty considers "sport" and doesn't count toward his total[1].
[edit] Interactions with the player character
The Lone Wanderer will first meet Forty outside the entrance. Many will think Forty shot the escaping slave. Then, through a conversation with you, he will explain about the Slave Collar. Afterwards, he will never engage in proper conversation with you, simply telling you to "piss off"--unless you are following the Rescue from Paradise quest, then he will have a conversation where you can "distract" him.
[edit] Inventory
| Apparel | Weapon | Other item | On death |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combat Armor | Chinese Assault Rifle OR 10mm SMG |
- | the box key |
[edit] Notes
- If you have the Paradise Falls Box Key in your possession and fail an attempt to pickpocket Forty, he will approach you and take the key away. You will then be informed that the Paradise Falls Box Key has been removed from your inventory.
- Forty has noticeably more health than the average human opponent, although not to an exceptional degree (he's able to survive a few more hunting rifle head shots than usual before dying).
[edit] Apperances
Forty only appears in Fallout 3.
