I think that'd be best. There's a Followers outpost up near one of my old scavenging grounds. Used to do some trading with a doctor there.Veronica Santangelo

The Follower's outpost is a location in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.

Layout[]

Situated northwest of the 188 Trading Post and southeast of the Grub n' Gulp rest stop, at the end of a small road branching off of Highway 95, the outpost appears to have been made inside a pre-War railroad traffic control tower and serves as a hub to coordinate field operations for the Mojave chapter of the Followers of the Apocalypse. At the base of the outpost, a hollowed-out rock can be found.

The interior of the outpost consists of two rooms, the first containing filing cabinets, coffee mugs, a radio, and a broken terminal on a desk. The second room has three unusable beds. It is inhabited by two unnamed Followers guards, Doctor Alvarez, and two unnamed Followers doctors.

Related quest[]

  • I Could Make You Care: After failing to convince the elder about changing the Brotherhood, if Veronica is told that she should leave, she asks to be taken to the Follower's outpost to join them, however, Alvarez asks them to return after 24 hours to meet Doctor Schiller. Returning again, however, all occupants of the outpost will have been killed by a group of Brotherhood paladins who must then also be killed to complete the quest.

Notes[]

  • One of the two Followers guards will always be a ghoul, who uniquely lacks the distinct gravely voice common among almost all other non-feral ghoul NPCs, instead sounding just like a human NPC.
  • As with many other locations in the Mojave, ambient tracks from Fallout can be heard playing in the background while on the premises.

Appearances[]

The Follower's outpost appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
