Flak 'N Shrapnel's is a store run by Flak and Shrapnel, inhabitants of Rivet City. The store sells weapons and ammunition, along with various armors.
Background
Flak 'N Shrapnel's was founded by Flak and Shrapnel sometime after Flak arrived in Rivet City, after selling out the slavers.
Layout
A bonfire is at the entrance. To the left, a locked cabinet (very hard) and Flak and Shrapnel's inventory in the white trunk. To the right, four locked ammunition boxes (hard) are on the floor; the exhibit shelves on top of those ammunition boxes are home to various items as well. Immediately behind the bonfire is a table with various items on. At the back, there is a sofa one can sit on. The exhibit shelves hold various weapons.

These are most of the things that can be in stock. The inventory changes every four days.
Notes
- If you enter the market place right when it opens then there may be a Rivet City security guard protecting the store saying that Flak and Shrapnel can be found and traded with at Gary's Galley.
- If you steal all of the ammunition in the store (like the ammunition in the ammunition boxes), Flak will talk about it with Shrapnel.
- Be alert, being in this area after shops close may cause companions to go on a killing spree.
- If you enslave Flak in the Strictly Business quest by Grouse, then Flak and Shrapnel's store will be inaccessible.
- Sometimes, when talking to Flak after the player hasn't talked to him in a while (or the first time) the player has the option to say "This is a nice selection, but they're all in lousy condition" to which he will respond by saying he doesn't keep the good stuff out on the table, and if the player wants, he will show them a locker with better guns. However, there is no dialog option for this, so it is possible that this is cut content, or simply an oversight.
- Flak and Shrapnel have one of the highest amounts of caps of any merchants in the game.
