The fire ant fricassée is a food item which restores health when eaten. Additionally, it reduces Starvation in Hardcore mode. Visually it is identical to the fire ant meat used to make it. However, the radiation effect is negated.

- Prior to patch 1.02, fire ant fricassée required a cazador egg and 2 pieces of fire ant meat.
- In real life, "fricassée" is a French dish, usually consisting of poultry stewed in a thick gravy.
