The Needler pistol is a small gun in Fallout Tactics.
Characteristics[]
The Needler pistol's original Fallout 2 specs were modified significantly for Fallout: Tactics. Its attacks were given a poisoning effect and its range increased to a respectable 30 hexes. On the other hand, the special ammunition that made the pistol so deadly in the predecessor was removed, nearly halving the weapon's damage output.
The overall effect is a considerable decrease in the gun's combat value, however, the Needler pistol still compares quite well to most other pistols in the game, especially due to the range. It also has the advantage of poisoning the target. The needle ammo also sells for a great deal of cash back at the bunker but it is very hard to come by.
