Mother icon

Mother icon is a miscellaneous item in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.

Characteristics[]

Small statues that appear to be carved wooden idols, they are important to the Children of Atom. The icon is most likely a representation of the shadowy figure known as the Mother of the Fog, who guides the Sole Survivor to the icon itself during the quest Visions in the Fog. The Sole Survivor's ability to acquire the idol is accepted as a sign from Atom, and they are instructed to give it to the Confessor. The idol must be relinquished to continue the initiation.

A mother idol can be found at Martin's refuge from when he fled the church, standing on the table next to the notes and tapes he left behind. It is the only item of note in the entire room, which otherwise contains only a mattress.

Separate versions of this object exist for each of the two associated quests. The player character can end up with both objects if they like. They have no weight and can be dropped from one's inventory to be used as decoration.
