The mirelurk carapace is a miscellaneous item in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.
Characteristics[]
A carapace is the hard upper shell of a crustacean, in this case, that of a mirelurk. It can be taken from their remains. Three of them must be acquired during the third part of the Hull Breach questline. Mirelurk carapaces can be sold to vendors for a moderate amount of caps.
Location[]
- Haddock Cove, taken from the body of dead mirelurks.
- Upon completion of Hull Breach 3, mirelurks killed on the Island will have one in their inventory. Mirelurk hunters, kings, and queens do not drop carapaces.
