A keyring is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 76.
Characteristics[]
It appears in the Pip-Boy inventory under the "Misc" heading. Selecting it allows the player character to see all of the individual keys they have found, received, and stolen. This includes physical keys, key cards, access codes, VIP cards, and recorded audio passwords, any item that the player character uses to access a locked door or container.
Notes[]
- The keyring cannot be obtained, the player character will always have one from the start.
- It cannot be dropped or sold.
- Some special key cards will not be associated with the keyring. Instead, they act as bugged, unremovable miscellaneous items such as Vault 22 cave door keycard.
- The keyring was patched into 76 during the Night of the Moth update.
