The Claymore is a Brotherhood of Steel Vertibird in 2287.
Background[]
During Precipice of War, the Claymore is stationed on the roof of the Cambridge Police Station. The Railroad, with the help of the Sole Survivor, can steal the Vertibird during their assault on the outpost.
After prepping the vehicle for flight, Tinker Tom will transport Deacon and the Sole Survivor to the Prydwen using the Claymore as part of Rockets' Red Glare. By lying to the Prydwen's air traffic control operators, the Railroad agents successfully dock the vehicle.
After the events of the quest, Tinker Tom takes the Claymore out of the vicinity of Boston Airport and stores it in an unknown location.[1] After completing the main story, the Sole Survivor can then call in Claymore to transport them around the Commonwealth.
