The junk mortar is a constructible settlement item added in the Fallout 4 add-on Contraptions Workshop.

The junk mortar is capable of launching large junk items, weapons, apparel, corpses, grenades, and even the Sole Survivor and their companions in a parabolic arc when powered. The mortar's arc can be changed either by walking up to it and activating the prompt that appears or by utilizing a connected terminal. However, the force of the mortar can only be changed via a connected terminal.
The junk mortar fires once each time it receives power but does not use any power itself.
