Patrick was a former soldier in the U.S. Armed Forces who fought in the Battle of Anchorage in Alaska in 2077.
Background[]
After his service, he returned home to the area around Washington, D.C. Despite his lover Kat's efforts to make his life return to normal, he was unable to adjust back to civilian life. This led him to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff near the VAPL-58 power station, leaving behind one last farewell holotape as a suicide note, an apology to Kat, and a makeshift will. In the tape, he mentioned that he wanted Mikey to have his motorcycle, and his dad to have his "Commie pistol." He left everything else he owned to Kat.[1]
