A bag of fertilizer is a common gardening good that can be found across the Commonwealth, but it is unknown if its composition is organic or chemical.
Dr. Penske will buy bags of fertilizer for 25 caps each after activating the unmarked quest Fertilizer Woman.

Fertilizer is used in making Jet, bottlecap mines, baseball grenades and fragmentation grenades and land mines at a chemistry station. If Wasteland Workshop is installed, it can also be used to build garden plots in settlements from the workshop.
