Feral Kid is a trait from Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 project by Black Isle.

You grew up in the heart of the savage wasteland. You are swift and powerful, but you tend to shun the company of others. Your Throwing Range is Strength * 4 (instead of Strength * 3) and you move 20% faster on the World Map. (remainder of description illegible in Van Buren tech demo)

This trait is a reference to Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, where Max meets a child, (who in the credits, it titled "The Feral Kid".) The addition to the throwing skill is also a nod, because he uses a lethal metal boomerang.
