F76 First Expeditionary Force
The Brotherhood First Expeditionary Force is an faction of Brotherhood of Steel soldiers sent from Lost Hills to re-establish contact with the original Appalachian Brotherhood, who were almost entirely wiped out by the Scorched Plague. After arriving in the region in 2104, they founded Fort Atlas in a pre-War observatory, and took up the mantle of their fallen predecessors. They are among the few groups in Appalachia to develop post-War power armor and energy weapons. They appear in Fallout 76, introduced in the Steel Dawn update.

General Chase
Constantine Chase was a pre-War U.S. Army general who commanded the United States troops during the Battle of Anchorage in Alaska. He was responsible for commissioning the Liberty Prime project and the Anchorage Reclamation simulation. During the Tranquility Lane quest, the notes on the Chinese Invasion Simulation suggest that it was programmed by Chase's people at the request of Dr. Braun. A simulated version of General Chase appears in the Fallout 3 add-on Operation: Anchorage, where he acts as a primary questgiver within the Anchorage Reclamation simulation, of which the real Chase was involved in the development.

FO3 Vault 92 door closed
Vault 92 is a Vault in the Capital Wasteland. Constructed by the Vault-Tec Corporation, the world's best musicians were invited to this Vault, ostensibly to preserve artistic talent in the event of nuclear war. Vault 92's true purpose, however, was an experimental study in the creation of super soldiers. By exposing the citizens of the Vault to white noise, the Vault's overseer and doctor induced a trance-like state in its residents. While in the trance, the citizens became susceptible to mind control and were thus manipulated for research. The Vault is abandoned by 2277, and appears as a location in Fallout 3.

Randall Clark
Randall Clark (February 5, 2053 – January 23, 2124) was a former U.S. Army soldier who took refuge in Zion National Park following the disaster of the Great War. His solitary existence and fierce protection of the inhabitants of Zion against outside threats earned him a mythical stature among his wards, leading to his establishment as The Father in the Cave(s), a divine figure of the Sorrows. His intermittent journal entries and camps scattered throughout the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts act as his autobiography. It shows him becoming "The Father," his life ending with the rebirth of a group of children into the Sorrows tribe and Clark unwittingly immortalized as their deity.

Prime
Liberty Prime is a U.S. Army pacification robot, originally designed to aid American troops in the liberation of Alaska from communist China. Upon their arrival in the Capital Wasteland, the Brotherhood of Steel discover the non-functional giant in the ruins of the former Pentagon. It is this discovery that earns Owyn Lyons a promotion to Elder and spurs the construction of a permanent Brotherhood base in the ruins of Washington, D.C., later to be known as the Citadel.

Fo1 Hub Townmap
The Hub is a major trading center and settlement established in an old town relatively untouched by the Great War. Since its foundation, the Hub became an economic powerhouse, as a crossroads for commerce and staging base for caravan houses, a major producer of agricultural goods thanks to the farms surrounding the city, and supplier of vital water for much of New California. The caravan houses that work the routes trade in everything: chems, tires, guns, bullets, food, brahmin, dirt, even scraps of metal. It is a major location in Fallout, but continues to play a major role in the backstory of subsequent games.

Razor
Living in the Boneyard just to the north of Adytum in a pre-War nightclub, the Blades are a group of survivalists lead by a beautiful woman who goes by the name of Razor. While a peaceful group, overall, they are persecuted by the Regulators, who both coerce them into doing their bidding and frame them for crimes against the people of Adytum. Their intent is to make the town appear to be seriously threatened by the Blades as an excuse for the Regulators own repressive policies there.

Protector Casdin

Here he was discovered by several people who began to worship him as a god, and a small and exclusive cult known as the Treeminders began to form in secrecy. Bob began to blossom (which Harold apparently finds embarrassing) and many plants grew in this area, which became green with life, a stark contrast to the outer wasteland.

Abraham Lincoln, sometimes honored as the Great Emancipator, was the 16th president of the United States of America, serving from 1861 to 1865. Lincoln is idolized by the Abolitionists, escaped slaves who seek to bring down the institution of post-War slavery in the same way that Lincoln ended slavery in pre-War America. In that same vein, Lincoln is despised by the slavers, who seek to destroy as much of his legacy as possible, whether that be personal effects or the memorial to his name built in Washington, D.C.

Chem psycho

A military-grade psychosis-inducing amphetamine, Psycho is provided in a unique delivery system that mixes strange chemicals of military origin immediately prior to injection. The drug was created by a private company, operated as a research division of the United States Army, founded by General Constantine Chase. It entered combat use during the final stages of the Anchorage Reclamation, to reduce the impact of attrition on U.S. forces deployed to the Alaskan front. Long term Psycho addiction may progress to the point that standard treatment options available in the wasteland, such as Addictol, are no longer effective in treating the habit.

FO01 NPC Lieutenant B
The Lieutenant or Lou, also lovingly dubbed Lou Tenant by some of his subordinates, is the Master's right hand and the overseer of all work inside Mariposa Military Base. Lou is a good example of how the Master would want his mutants to turn out: stronger, more intelligent, and overall superior to normal humans. He appears to be a rather sadistic character who thoroughly enjoys torturing the Vault Dweller, as well as arrogantly self-assured concerning the superiority of super mutants over normal humans and ghouls, referring to the former as the "next step in human evolution."

Mojave Wasteland map
The Mojave Wasteland is the region synonymous with the pre-War Mojave Desert, spanning large portions of the pre-War states of California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. It serves as the primary setting and gameworld of Fallout: New Vegas. In the years immediately following the bombs, the Mojave was largely ignored by the developing post-apocalyptic civilizations. When New California Republic scouts reached Hoover Dam with the intent of expanding the NCR's borders, pre-War Securitrons rolled out onto the old Las Vegas Strip and rallied the three tribes occupying the city, at the behest of Mr. House, the man who had saved the city centuries prior.

It is mentioned throughout the Fallout series as a source of power generation, nuclear propulsion, other technologies central to the setting. Strangler plants or strangler vines are mutated plants native to the Mire in Fallout 76. After the explosion and core meltdown of Vault 94's G.E.C.K., a thick fog poured from the vault's entrance and down into the surrounding forest. It rapidly changed the biome downriver into a swampy jungle and infested the ruins with strangler vines, transforming the region into the Mire. In the pre-Plague period, the Appalachian Enclave took interest in the vines while researching the post-War ecosystem. They set up a field laboratory at Tanagra Town. The field laboratory quickly collapsed and all of the research was destroyed by an Enclave researcher who presumably went insane.

FO76 Mutated
Mutations are a type of effect in Fallout 76. Mutations are acquired by the player when exposed to radiation. They provide both positive and negative effects. Mutations are semi-permanent effects that provide both positive and negative effects. It is possible to acquire up to 18 of the 19 available mutations at the same time. The exceptions are Carnivore and Herbivore, which prevent one another from being acquired. The Starched Genes perk allows for locking mutations, as it reduces/eliminates both the chance of becoming mutated and their removal chance.
