The Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas notable loot project is a project which aims to clean up the "notable loot" sections of all FO3 and FNV location articles. This is to ensure that the listed items are truly notable and so ineligible items do not clutter the section and page.

This project covers all Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas locations, both marked and unmarked.
GuidelinesEdit
In general, to determine whether or not certain items are notable, please review the following criteria:
- The item must be rare to a reasonable extent.
- The value of the item (in trading) must be high enough so that they are worth obtaining.
- If there is a significant amount of an item that is used in a repeatable quest
- If there is an unusually large quantity of an otherwise non-notable item
- If there is an item of unusually large size that would otherwise be non-notable. (This is more prevalent in Fallout 3.)
The Notable loot page is an invaluable resource for this project and includes a list of fixed location items for reference.
