Experimental Weapons Drones are alien robots encountered in the Weapons Lab on board Mothership Zeta.

The Experimental Weapons Drone is the most advanced Alien Drone encountered on Mothership Zeta. Each of the two drones encountered in the Weapons Lab carries two Drone Cannons in its inventory, one of the common variety and one Drone Cannon Ex-B, making them the sole source for the latter. Just like the robots in the Capital Wasteland, they can be deactivated once the player aquires the Robotics Expert perk.
Experimental Weapons Drones are initially friendly; they will not attack the player unless attacked first.

Two Experimental Weapons Drones appear in the Mothership Zeta Fallout 3 add-on.
[edit] Bugs
- As with other Mothership Zeta characters, the drones can sometimes 'carry' their cannons backwards, which looks amusing as they appear to be stabbing themselves with the cannon.
- Pulse Grenades and Pulse Mines do not effect these robots besides the pitiful base damage.
