Escalator to Heaven is a perk added to Fallout 3 with the Broken Steel add-on.
Effects
Edit
It instantly sets the player's Karma to Very Good.
Notes
Edit
- It is generally inadvisable to get this perk since you could donate bottle caps to a church to quickly raise your Karma (2000 caps to go from max "very evil" to max "very good" Karma), which a level 24 character should easily be able to afford.
- The only reason it would be advantageous to take this perk is to obtain the Messiah achievement for good Karma at level 30 easily.
Behind the scenes
Edit
- This perk is a reference to the 1971 Led Zeppelin song Stairway to Heaven, just as the opposing perk Devil's Highway is a reference to the 1979 AC/DC song Highway to Hell.
