Where's the maintenance crew when you need them?

Enclave scientists are responsible for research and development of technology for the Enclave, encompassing all fields of study.

Members of the Enclave's scientific staff can be encountered on the Enclave Oil Rig in Fallout 2. Easily recognizable by their stark white lab coats, contrasting with the bleak, bluish interiors of their base, they are typically concerned with their ongoing project - development of the FEV Curling-13. By the time the Chosen One meets them in 2240s, they've already made it into a staggeringly effective killer and are fine tuning it just before release.

The scientists tend to become aggravated at the slightest signs of inconvenience from their environment, be it jarheads, malfunctioning IR-spectrometer or just plain bad luck.

Other interactionsEdit

In combat, their low damage resistance (no armor at all) makes them easy to take out. However, since all members of the Enclave receive rudimentary military training, they are competent, if unconfident combatants.

These Enclave scientists appear only in Fallout 2.
