This dying super mutant was a scout for the Master's Army, around 2161, a member of the Scavenger Team. He can be found in the Deathclaw's Lair near the Hub, hurt badly after being assaulted by a deathclaw, probably when scouting for humans in the lair. When you find the mutant, he will be mumbling crazily to himself, and when you approach him, he will think you are the Master. He holds the Mutant Transmissions holodisk, which reveals that it is actually the Super Mutants that are behind the attacks on missing caravans, not the infamous deathclaw.

The mutant was a member of a scavenger team. His days as a Human are unknown. The mutant was scouting for more humans from the caravans of the Hub. Becoming a bit too curious, the mutant accidently travelled to a Deathclaw's lair, and was killed.

The Vault Dweller can find the Mutant Transmissions holodisk on the Mutant, and can bring this holodisk to Butch Harris in the Hub to gain experience.
