Dot's Diner is a chain of diners before the Great War. These restaurants provided service for every hour of the day. They can be spotted all over the Capital Wasteland, most notably the one in Jury Street Metro Station and the Grisly Diner. It may sometimes be beneficial to the player to investigate the insides of the different diners scattered across the wasteland. Some might contain valuable loot, crafting materials or food leftover from the war, as well as they usually have some Pre-War Money left over in the cash registers. Others might be used as outposts by Raiders or other enemies who might even have "extended" the facility and fortified it to suit their needs, these might contain ammunition as well as weaponry for the player to loot. Others might also be used by NPCs to set up shop and sell food or wares, most notably the one run by Joe Porter in Canterbury Commons.

[edit] Behind the scenes
- Dot's Diner is possibly a reference to the computer-generated cartoon ReBoot, where a female character Dot owned a diner called "Dot's Diner."
- It is also the name of several long-standing diners throughout the USA, most notably Dot's Diner in Boulder, Colorado.
