- Dog meat is a poor, but common food source. The rads to HP ratio is as bad as any other common food source.

- In Fallout 3 it is always found on a vicious dog, however it can also be found on Talon Company, Scavenger, Raider or Wastelander guard dogs, and even on Super Mutants. Dogmeat is no exception.
- Dog meat only appears in Fallout 3.
