Dispose of Jain is a side quest in Fallout.

Quick walkthrough

1. Talk to Decker after killing Mr. Hightower.
2. Accept his mission to kill Jain.
3. Find Jain in the Hub and kill her.

Detailed walkthrough

This quest is given by Decker after the Vault Dweller has successfully disposed of Daren Hightower. Once Daren is killed, Decker sends the Vault Dweller to kill high priestess Jain of the Children of the Cathedral.

Go to the southeast exit grid in the Downtown section of the Hub. Enter the building toward the west in the following area, and go into the back office. Once inside the office, kill the person in the purple robe. Be warned, once Jain is killed, everyone else in the building will become hostile towards the Vault Dweller.

Alternatively, it's possible to talk her into going hostile by annoying her through certain conversation choices. With this route, only her two guards and Thorndyke will join her in the fight, and it doesn't seem to matter to Decker or Kane that witnesses were left alive.

• 1000 bottle caps upon agreeing to the task.
• 4000 bottle caps upon completion of the quest.
• -2 Reputation.

Notes

• Even though Jain is a member of the Children of the Cathedral, the Vault Dweller will still get negative Reputation for killing her.
