Dale was a scavenger who lived in the Commonwealth in 2287.
Background[]
Dale and his ghoul partner Sheila were hired by Solomon to gather mutated fern. They planned for Sheila to arrive first at the Forest Grove marsh and set up, while Dale would come later to pick up and deliver the ferns she'd harvested. However, Dale came three days later than planned, by which time Sheila was already out of supplies and planning to make a supply run, recording instructions for Dale to follow if he came while she was out. Shortly after Dale arrived, he was attacked by the feral ghouls in the marsh, which had previously ignored Sheila due to her being a ghoul. Sheila shouted for Dale to run before her recording ended.[1]
