Doc Crocker is a facial reconstruction surgeon operating in Diamond City in 2287.
Background
Doc Crocker is a locally-famous plastic surgeon, well respected throughout Diamond City. Unlike his colleague Dr. Sun, Crocker, despite having received medical training, obsesses highly about the attractive faces of his patients. His "appearance over profession" demeanor forced the doc to lose sight of his oath to provide professional-grade, quality facial reconstructions to the people of the city. This decision eventually turns quite lethal for Earl Sterling, a friend and employee of Vadim Bobrov, during an appointment.
Due to the nature of the crime he had unwillingly committed, the doctor concealed the evidence in his surgery cellar, where he further mutilated the barkeep's body to make it harder for security to identify the remains. Following this, Crocker refuses to speak of the incident and keeps the cellar locked in order to maintain his innocence
Apparently, Crocker had never learned to handle being declared guilty of committing serious acts. This why he sports a tendency to threaten to commit suicide, should he be confronted by the authorities.
