Doc Crocker is a doctor and facial reconstruction surgeon who resides in Diamond City in the year 2287.
Background
Doc Crocker is known for his "appearances over practice" mentality, in which he prefers looking good in his field than actually doing a good job. He works in the Mega surgery center with Dr. Sun. During the events of The Disappearing Act, it is revealed that Doc Crocker botched an operation on Earl Sterling, resulting in his death.
In an attempt to cover up his failure, Crocker moved Earl's body into the basement of the Mega surgery center.
If the Sole Survivor investigates the cellar during the quest, Doc Crocker will be found with Sterling's dismembered body, talking to himself. After talking with the Sole Survivor, no matter if they attempt to arrest him or take him peacefully, Crocker realizes what he had done, he overdoses on Psycho and dies in the basement. Alternatively, certain dialogue choices will lead to combat.
