The coyote den is a location in the Mojave Wasteland, located just west of the Hidden Supply Cave.
Layout
This is an open cave with several coyotes roaming around at the mouth. There is no entry door just a dark cavern in the side of the mountain where you will find a dead Bright Brotherhood Follower lying next to a pile of bones.
In the shallow cave there will be a coyote den mother, a regular coyote and 2-3 coyote pups. They may not attack unless provoked or approached.
Notes
- The coyotes may not always be there
- A centaur may be found within the den.
- The fast travel point does not place the player in immediate combat range.
Appearances
The coyote den appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
Bugs
- Occasionally one of the coyote pups can fall through the world and just sit beneath the player growling and barking.
