Developed by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938, the chocolate chip cookie is a drop cookie composed of butter, both brown and white sugar with semi-sweet chocolate chips. They seem to have resisted the Great War extremely well, containing no radiation and giving an energy bonus for a good fifteen minutes.
