Congress Street garage is an unmarked location in the Commonwealth in Fallout 4. It is located right across the street from Faneuil Hall.

Layout

The garage is, unsurprisingly, completely wrecked. It is inhabited by raiders and has functional protectron pods with an access terminal nearby. The lower floors house two elevators, one of which takes the Sole Survivor to an unsafe ledge high in the wrecked scaffolding of the building, the other takes them to a walkway that leads to an alternate entrance to the Commonwealth Bank. This elevator also leads to some stairs that can allow the player character to access the highway.

The ground floor of the garage also contains the back entrance to the Haymarket Mall. Coming from the mall, the garage is accessible with a key found on a raider on the second level.

Notes

  • Sometimes the raiders and protectrons will be dead when the player character turns up.

Appearances

Congress Street garage only appears in Fallout 4.

Bugs

  • [platforms tag needed] When the player character gets back into the right-side elevator from the unsafe ledge, the elevator may drop along with any companion, while the player character remains standing on a beam. The elevator door can be opened and the player character may jump back onto the ledge, from where they can jump down to the level with the walkway that leads into the bank. [verification overdue]
  • Playstation 4Playstation 4 If the player attempts to open the hatch while the elevator is in operation, there is a chance the player may fall through the ground to his death. [verification overdue]
