With this perk, you get a second chance at hacking any computer you were previously locked out of.
Fallout 3Edit
As with the Infiltrator perk, Computer Whiz has debatable value. Any hacking attempt can be aborted prior to failure, after which the security will reset and it can be hacked again without consequence. In this manner, no computer will ever end up being locked out.
Fallout: New VegasEdit
In contrast to Fallout 3, there is now a delay between successive attempts (if aborted). Because of this, and coupled with a high Science skill, this perk can effectively act as a Force Lock for hacking, since the first attempt can just be going down all the passwords in sequence.
