Cleansing Flame is a weapon added with the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Gun Runners' Arsenal.
Characteristics
Cleansing Flame is a modified, high-capacity flamer. Unlike the standard variant it has three jet nozzles, three large fuel tanks, and orange cables. The flame jet is blue rather than the usual red, indicating that the flame burns hotter than standard flamers.
Compared to the standard flamer, the Cleansing Flame has superior overall damage and longer range. Its slightly lower base damage is offset by the burn effect that steadily improves based on the user’s Energy Weapons skill.

Notes
This weapon is the only GRA weapon that has an effect which scales to the player's skill level.
Bugs
- The Cleansing Flame's blue flame effect will not appear when the weapon is used, all that will appear is a tiny transparent flame cone at the nozzle. Sometimes exiting to third person you can see the blue flame, but upon reentering first person the blue flames will disappear again.[verified]
- startquest xx00093c, then resetquest xx00093c. This could also be done in reverse order. Use this fix in the console:
Sometimes, if Gloria Van Graff is dead, Cleansing Flame will not be purchasable from Vendortron.[verified]
