If the Sole Survivor enters his residents in the stands his tone shifts to a slightly more approving one, mentioning how fearless they were to "waltz right into the stands". He then proceeds to give advice on "being your own person" without fear and how similar calm confident attitudes earned his family their fortune.

Polly at Choice Chops mentions that the source of her brahmin meat are the "Codman family farms", which suggests that brahmin ranching may be the source of the Codmans' wealth and social status in the upper stands. When spoken to in the Colonial Taphouse, one of his dialogues includes "I wouldn't keep my worst Brahmin in one." when referring to the lower houses.
