Chinese stealth armor, also known as Hēi guǐ (黑鬼) stealth armor, was one of China's greatest military assets during the Sino-American War. When equipped, it afforded the soldier a high amount of protection (but not as much as America's combat armor), while also coating the user in an active camouflage system. The American Army tried to copy this technology in the unstable Stealth Boy units. The scientist from the Big MT tried to copy the results in their stealth suit Mk II.

Anchorage campaign armorEdit

The Chinese spent some time redesigning the stealth armor before issuing it to their elite Crimson Dragoons on the Anchorage Front Line. A single copy was captured by the US and sent to several companies for study and reverse-engineering. You will find it in the armory which is unlocked after you finish the Operation: Anchorage add-on.

Hoover Sabotage armorEdit

During the Hoover Sabotage, Americans caught their first glimpses of China's elite soldiers wearing the stealth armor. Because Sub-Level 1C was sealed, several of the Chinese soldiers' bodies remained in the compound.

There are two Chinese stealth armors located at Hoover Dam by 2281, presumably left there on the corpses of two Chinese agents after the Hoover Dam sabotage incident before the Great War. NCR forces found and later misplaced the suits in a storeroom with radioactive waste in the Hoover Dam Offices. These two suits differ from the Anchorage version in that they do not create a stealth field around the wearer when sneaking and have a lower sneaking bonus.

It is also located (secretly) at the office level of Hoover Dam. It is located in a room with radioactive barrels, in a crate against the back wall. Its existence is hinted at on the only accessible terminal on the same level. It is the middle crate on the left. Stealing these suits will affect your Karma level.
