Charon's unique shotgun does not deteriorate, has infinite ammo, and has its unique firing spread and firing rate. It will fire perfectly straight with a very tight spread that hardly gets wider. It cannot be interacted with.

Compared to standard combat shotgun, Charon's shotgun has MUCH higher accuracy and longer range with smaller magazine size (5 instead of 12). Generally speaking, Charon's shotgun outclasses any other shotguns. Since Small Guns is one of Charon's tag skills, he will deal more damage with it as he levels.

Despite the fact that its appearance is identical to the standard combat shotgun, Charon's shotgun is a lever action shotgun, unlike the combat shotgun which is semi-automatic. This means it needs to be cocked for each round.

• This weapon cannot be looted from his corpse and can only be acquired by using the appropriate console command.

• To get your own "Charon's Shotgun", use the console command: player.additem 372B8 1 100

• Charon's Shotgun uses an NPC-only type of Shotgun Shells. The base ID for this special ammo is - 4C5F9
• There is a trick to make Charon reload without time delay. Simply talk to him when fighting, ask for trade(force reload) or just close the dialog(when he shoots about 5 times). This can save him from dangerous situations.
• It appears to fire a tight spread of Bullets rather than pellets/buckshot.
