The canyon wreckage is a location in the Mojave Wasteland. It can be found west of Primm.

Layout

It can be found by following a path north by northwest from California Sunset Drive-in, but ends in a dead end. There appears to be a passage through the mountains leading to the Mesquite Wilderness Area, however it is blocked, perhaps intentionally, by wreckage of burnt-out cars, trucks, and other objects.

Notably, several wreckages sport graffiti, reading "You Can Go Home, Courier", "the Divide", "Lonesome Road" and "Courier Six?". It is likely that this graffiti was written by Ulysses: another Courier who intended to transport the Platinum chip to Mr House instead of The Courier.

Notable Loot

  • True Police Stories nearby at the Scenic Overlook, which overlooks the California Sunset Drive-in and NCR side of Primm (on the picnic table end closest to the swings).
  • Lad's Life on a wooden plank next to the campfire at the Scenic Overlook.
  • Heading up hill to the wreckage, there is a semi-trailer on it's side. Inside are a few crates with frag grenades.
  • Taking a left after the semi-trailer laying on it's side you can find a dead NCR Trooper in small alcove near two coyotes.
  • Two graves that can be dug up with random loot just to the right of the deadend with a shovel

Notes

  • A backwards '6' graffiti is also inside the above mentioned blue truck past the explosive crates.
  • In the Dead Money DLC, a possible epilogue for Christine Royce mentions a great battle between two couriers at "the divide." This implies another DLC and more information into the history of the Mojave Wasteland.

Appearances

Canyon wreckage appears in Fallout: New Vegas.
