A Campfire is a world object in Fallout: New Vegas.

OverviewEdit

Campfires in the Mojave Wasteland are used to cook up raw meats and to create a wide variety of medicines, chems and poisons. Campfires are scattered around the wasteland and will usually be found surrounded by some form of benches or makeshift bedding, and in some cases, even making fine bedding itself. Around the campfire you may find pots, pans and other various cooking utensils as well as anything the implied previous visitor(s) may have left behind. Campfires may be found lit or unlit, but they still all function the same way.

The electric hot plate, found in the Sierra Madre and the Big MT, serves the same purpose as the campfire.

• If you have the Home on the Range perk (only available with Honest Hearts installed), you will have the option to sleep when you interact with a campfire, and it will still give you all the benefits of when you sleep on a normal bed.
