The Codac R9000 camera is a miscellaneous item appearing in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Overview

The camera is a twin-lens reflex camera with a fixed focus. Exposure time is controlled by a shutter arm. Illumination is provided by a flash bulb held in a flash holder. In Fallout 3, after completion of the Broken Steel quest Who Dares Wins, Reginald Rothchild will trade 100 caps and 25 XP per camera in the unmarked quest Getting Ready for Prime Time. In Old World Blues, they can be given to the Toaster in exchange for five energy cells and three microfusion cells.

Variants

Codac R9000 - a weaponized version of the Codac R9000 appears in Fallout: New Vegas. It is given to the Courier by Michael Angelo to complete the quest Classic Inspiration. Despite using "ammunition", this camera deals no damage and is purely for taking photos.
