Calverton is the small village with a chapel southwest of Jury Street Metro Station, the church being an easily spotted landmark to the southwest - halfway to Evergreen Mills - with some interesting loot. South of the chapel are the ruins of Calverton.
Encounter
One of two encounters will happen here:
- Super Mutants will be holding a Wastelander hostage. You can kill the Super Mutants and save the Wastelander.
- A Wastelander being chased by the raider with a flamer. Bug: You can't save the Wastelander. If you kill the raider, the wastelander will attack you. (Faction bug.)

Church
- Lying, Congressional Style in the speakers podium.
- Pugilism Illustrated on the floor in a corner in bathroom
- A Mini Nuke under a table.
Village
- A Safe (lockpick 75) in the first house south of the church; house has an intact fireplace/chimney.
- Nikola Tesla and You in a broken down house south of the church, on top of a bookshelf.
- On the east side of the village is a truck. Inside are various ammo crates and metal crates containing various ammo and a piece of armour, also in here is a U.S. Army: 30 Handy Flamethrower Recipes and a free bed
Notes
- A random encounter may occur here.
- North of Calverton is a Super Mutant camp, mentioned in the Search Party Log.
- North of the Super Mutant Camp is a crater. Under an overturned truck in the crater are 96 (12x8) Alien Power Cells.
- 3 Raiders can spawn walking towards the church after you walk inside, they can easily be killed by hiding round a corner with a shotgun.
