A burnt magazine is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 4.
Characteristics
There are three different variations, the burnt Trade, Lifestyle, and Fashion magazine. They are Pre-war magazines that appear to have suffered extensive damage from the fire from the initial Nuclear Bomb strike or fires after. Also Water stains and damage due to exposure. Each have much of the same characteristics, but do have differences form each another. As well are more lighter in color then Burnt Comics. They have a weight of 0, as well a value of 1 cap. They are not used for anything in game, and are usually left or sold to a Merchant.
The Burnt Trade Magazine has right center damage with a top right tear, water stains on the top and center left. The magazine has some center pages slightly askew to the right from the rest. The back of the magazine appears to have somewhat less damage, and appears lighter in color than the front. The top and right corner appears to have water stains, and tearing at the bottom and top left.
The Burnt Lifestyle Magazine has heavy damage to the right side with water stains in the center. The center and back pages are both askew to the right, one askew to the top, and one askew to the bottom.The Back has a lighter color like the other two. It is missing most of the top of the page with some still left on the right side. As well as a small hole on the bottom.
The Burnt Fashion Magazine has extensive water damage to the front. The bottom left corner is missing, with a small hole in the center near the bottom of the magazine. The magazine has discoloration from the top to bottom due to the water, and fire damage. The back of the Magazine is the most damaged of the three. Missing most of the top and left side. What is remaining has holes and water or fire damage. There is a light strip that runs from top to bottom near the spine of the magazine. It looks like it may have been tape the was covering the area, which may have protected the area, or is tape holding the back page the magazine.

- All magazines on a table in the Boylston Club and one in the Old Corner bookstore.
- Lifestyle and trade magazine on top of the filing cabinet where you pick up Issue #5 of Picket Fences in the Weston water treatment plant.
- Lifestyle and trade magazine oon a shelf in the Boston Public Library in the room overlooking the courtyard.
- Trade magazines in the Boxing Gym, on the bed in root cellar and in the upstairs office of the Cambridge Polymer Labs
- All three types of the Burnt Magazine(s) can be found in College Square. Mainly in the small booth facing west from College Square Station entrance, same place that the Racetrack advertisement as well in the small store northeast of the entrance.
