The bumper sword is a weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
This two-handed melee weapon is made from scrap vehicle parts. An exhaust pipe forms the shaft, with the blade fashioned from a bumper with the license plate still attached.
Special attack
It has a special Mauler attack, which does 50% damage in V.A.T.S. and uses 10 more action points; additionally it has a chance to knock enemies down.

It is possible to execute Mauler outside of V.A.T.S. (without the required Melee skill of 50 to perform the move) by initiating a power attack (hold attack button) while moving forward.
Durability
The bumper sword can successfully strike about 1495 times from full condition before breaking.

- This weapon is affected by the Heavyweight perk.
