The bumper sword is a weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics

The bumper sword, as the name suggests, consists of a rusty car bumper that has been flattened and sharpened into a thick, heavy blade. The license plate is still attached, and an exhaust pipe strapped to the unsharpened end serves as a makeshift handle.

Special attack

It has a special Mauler attack, which does 50% damage in V.A.T.S. and uses 10 more action points; additionally it has a chance to knock enemies down.

It is possible to execute Mauler outside of V.A.T.S. (without the required Melee skill of 50 to perform the move) by initiating a power attack (hold attack button) while moving forward.
