Bumbalo's was a pre-War children's toy retailer. The company is mentioned in an article at the Capitol Post building as a bidder on the United Nations building after the U.N. were disbanded, hoping to transform the building into their new East Coast superstore.

It is likely that Bumbalo's is a pun on Rumbelows, An electronics and electrical retailer in the United Kingdom from 1969 up until the late 1990s.
