The Broadsider is a ranged weapon in Fallout 76.
Characteristics[]
The Broadsider is a naval cannon which has been fitted to a metal chassis. The powder is fired electronically with a button rather than via fuse. The whole cannon swivels upward to load cannonballs through the muzzle.

Notes[]
- An unobtainable Broadsider with a boxing glove protruding from the barrel is located inside an inaccessible room in the Rusty Pick.
- No powder is loaded into the Broadsider's barrel when reloading despite being a cannon that visually produces smoke and gunshots when fired.
- Despite the multi shot canister mod increasing ammo capacity by 2, users wielding the Broadsider will always insert a single projectile into the weapon while reloading, regardless of how many were left in the cannon.
- A Quad multi-shot Broadsider can carry 6 cannonballs at a time, not 12, because Quad multiplies a weapon's base ammo capacity, not its capacity with mods.
Behind the scenes[]
- The term "broadsiding," or "firing broadside," is a naval term, referring to firing all the cannons (in jargon referred to as 'guns') that can be pointed to one side of a ship, all at the same time.
- The Broadsider's cannon barrel has two engravings; "1820", which is likely the year it was cast, and King George II's royal cypher.
