- There is a boomerang identical to this boomerang in Mad Max II The Road Warrior where a raider throws a boomerang at Max, but it misses and when it comes flying back a raider jumps up to catch it, his fingers are choped of by the boomerang. His other raider friends start laughing at him while he doesn't know to laugh himself.
