Fallout: New Vegas story idea :-)
Now smiley people, i dont know about you but the way i play in fallout new vegas i create into a story, as in what my courier does affects him and how his story will turn out, well iv had a lil story knocking about in my head:
The story mainly focuses around the conflict happening in the north vegas area, with the people of north vegas living in the sewers as refugees because of the NCR war up above, The independance of westside as it is completley cut off from NCR support, and the mysterious goings on why the legion have an interest in the two communities. The courier's name is shayne, of british decent and tends to let his diplomatic side sort out most problems, he travels with his best friend Julien, hired as couriers for the mojave expr…
Raiding Boomer's Vault: Number 34
11-18-10 Raided Vault 34 today. lots of Ferals and radiation. Total time in there: about 2 hours in real time. Loot acquired: 4 10mm SMG's 12%, 20%. All American Unique Weapon. 2 Sniper Rifle's 34%, 19%. Lots of 10mm ammo and Vault 34 jumpsuits. A crap load of Pre-War money. Expenditure: around 50 rounds of .308. Around 2 dozen Rad Away and Rad-X. One radiation suit , 3 Med-X, 1 Mentats, and 11 stimpacks.
Axis & Allies Meets Fallout - Intro, Backround & Unit Stats
About the same time the Neurshima Hex giveaway was announced, I had an idea for a Fallout-y Axis & Allies (Which will be referred as AnA from here on out). It was originally just to be a re-skinning of the factions, map, and a few rule changes. But I have sort of evolved it into a Fallout board game with AnA rules. At least, that's what I think.
AnA is a classic board which needs no further explaination. The rules are actually very good and can be easily learned and modified. For some reference I'm going to post the (modified) unit stats that will change based on tech (or Perks, as I renamed them) and Buffs, which will be explained in further detail later. I have lowered the attack values and increased costs to make a more 'apocalypse' mood…
New Vegas DLC named and release date given.
The latest Fallout: New Vegas dlc has been announced as "Dead Money", which will see the player trying to uncover the "legendary treasure" with the aid of three other wastelanders, (companions perhaps?). The dlc will release for Xbox 360 on the 21st of December for 800 microsoft points.

First New Vegas add-on announced: Dead Money
Hi all!
Major Nelson just announced the name, release date and cost of the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive Fallout: New Vegas add-on (DLC): Dead Money. It will be released on December 21st for 800 Microsoft Points (which is about $10).

I'll certainly be getting it. What about you guys? As with the Fallout 3 add-ons, it will likely only be a timed exclusive, and will eventually be available on the other two platforms as well.

Bethesda has a chartity auction with Fallout swag, such as NCR t-shirt, New Vegas neon sign or a Vault Boy bobblehead signed by Todd Howard, as well as swag from some of their other games. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Brian Wood Memorial Trust.
New Vegas receives 3 Video Game Awards nominations for the following categories: Best PC Game, Best RPG, and Best Performance by a Human Female (Felicia Day as Veronica Santangelo). The awards will be announced on Spike, on Saturday, December 11th at 8PM EST.
