A "good ending" is in the eye of the beholder, of course. Previously, this might have been called a "good karma" ending. But, since karma doesn't exist in Fallout 4, this ending is best described as putting the Commonwealth into a state of strong stability for all of the major players (except for the Institute...those slaving, murdering bastards get nuked).

This ending keeps all the major factions alive and happy with you. You are a high-ranking knight in the Brotherhood, a major asset of the Railroad, and (of course) the leader of the Minutemen. Side quests for all three factions are open to you along with various post-event quests.

If your idea of a "good ending" is everyone dead and a giant pile of pillows that you stole from all corners …

    Here me out on this...

In fallout 3 and new vegas, T45 lowers your Agility by -1. you know what else makes you slower when wearing? a drained power armor frame in Fallout 4. All the suits in Fallout 3 are drained. this explines why Power armor (Fallout) doesn't drain agility. it was thurther in the past, and the cores were not drained yet. Also, T-51b power armor (Fallout 3) doesn't impact agility is because it is at least 10 years newer, with newer cores. Armour wasn't costomizable in the past due to the lack of Power armor stations.

I was in town the other day, and I always notice the large orange sign for Little Caesar's, and I can't help but think "What would the man himself think?" No, really! A little, cartoonish character with an overly large nose and with a pizza on a stick. If it was me, I'd be insulted. "Hey, look at what you did to me! I don't look like that!" I guess the rest of my feelings would be "I'm happy you named something after me...but, still: did you have to make my mascot look like that?!"

When Nero was emperor, he made an edict that all Roman citizens had to attend his plays. However, almost all Roman citizens hated him in the first place, because he ursurped his older brother. This eddict was made doubly painful by his apparent "awful voice." Ner…

I would like to add a "Crafting" section in some of the location descriptions since I think it would be a practical addition to some maps. There is no need to add this section on the settlement maps since you can build your own crafting stations there.

I would really like the point of view of a moderator or a link to a page telling me I should or should not do this kind of addition.

    • Categories are easier to read than walls of text. It is also clearer.
    • Crafting is an important part of the game. It allows you to extract mods and recycle some weapons you otherwise would not care about carrying all the way back to your settlement.

    • Too many categories make the already existing categories less visible.

I've been using this wiki extensively since the release of Fallout 4, and it's helped me far more than any other source could come close to. Despite the game only being released two weeks ago, there have been thousands of useful articles that cease to disappoint. As a result, I've really gained an incentive to give back and build the wiki along with the rest of you. I've started helping through a multitude of ways, extending from correcting simple grammatical errors to writing new articles. Can't wait to see a polished-up and complete wiki that thousands of players could benefit from.

And to those who have helped build the wiki to this point- Dam w/out you I wouldve been stuck wit no railroad a looonngggg time ago.

    My Fallout 4 Review

    November 25, 2015 by Jennifer74PtV

I've been playing games for many, many years. I started on an old Atari 600XL, then IBM PCjr, IBM PC XT, 486-66, Pentium 133, Pentium 4, and now my iCore 5 seen on my profile page. I've played on a friend's Nintendo & Super Nintendo, but have never owned a console since the Atari 600XL. I've seen probably 1000+ games in my years, ranging from old B&W games to today's Fallout 4, Watch Dogs, Crysis 3 and more.

From what I've been able to see so far of Fallout 4, considering I'm a little behind on system requirements, is that it's an amazing game! I hope to get an AMD Radeon HD R9 in the spring so I can enjoy the graphics better. As far as game play goes, it's more in-depth than anything I've played. Skyrim is a close second as far as cr…

So recently i have found several buoys scattered around spectacle island with bells on them which can be activated, so i thought to myself if there was an Easter egg revolved around Spectacle Island. And what i would like to do is start up a conversation and actually find out if this could be related to an Easter egg or not.

So far i have found a total of 5 buoys which all can be interacted with, they also come in different colours which i think could be a pattern to activate an Easter egg. There are so far 2 green and 3 red.

A story that we're not able to just let past us is this piece in Kotaku. They allege they've been "blacklisted" by Bethesda (and Ubisoft).

Although this hasn't been officially stated to them (Sony tried that back in 2007... and soon found that became the news story), they have had "radio silence" from Bethesda HQ since last December... about the same time as the leak with the script that ended up being strangely accurate.

This is to the extent that they're not receiving review copies or call backs from the Bethesda PR…

I remember reading somewhere that Tim Cain was the one who came up with the Enclave, but I’m having a hell of a time attempting to source that. He could have said it anywhere, from NMA to RPG Codex to a game mag or even in a video interview. Somebody could contact him directly and ask him about it, but I don’t know how I would do that myself.

Today, Bethesda posted a blog that both thanks players for their response to Fallout 4 and attempts to explain the volume of bugs people have been experiencing. From the post:

It's true that the freedom our games offer you can lead to unintentional consequences that are sometimes bad, when the game combines too many unexpected elements at once. Given the scale and complexity of the systems at work, especially when allowing you to build your own settlements, we're happy that Fallout 4 is our most robust and solid release ever, and we'd like to thank our amazing QA staff who worked as hard as anyone to break the game so we could fix it during development. But a hundred testers will never replicate the many millions playing the game now, and w…

    Fallout 4 DLC Ideas

November 19, 2015 by Hole In Yo Face

There is no questions that the Fallout 4 DLC's are going to be awesome. Seeing how great a job they did on the Fallout 3 DLC's, Fallout 4 should be even (or better). They had "rumors" that the first DLC is going to be dropping in early 2016. So what do you want? New Area, quests, etc? --Hole In Yo Face (talk) 21:11, November 19, 2015 (UTC)Hole In Yo Face

I only played a small amount of Fallout 4, but does it add up to Fallout 3? I'm slightly bias to Fallout 3, since it's my favorite game ever. Fallout 4 comes closely behind it.

PRESENTATION: Let's start with the presentation. Fallout 4 (spoiler alert) starts with you in the pre-war era. Codsworth is shiny, wife/husband lively, and baby crying. It gives the game some prefix and meaning to the character, making you care for them. Fallout 3 starts with your birth and most of your life. The beginnings of the games are similar with the "Every thing is fine!" theme. Now that I'm not saying the Fallout 4 story is good, but the beginning starts off stronger. It gives you an motive to find your son. Fallout 3 has a similiar theme, but why find your …

    Race in Fallout 4

    November 18, 2015 by MelonKony

Edit: Sorry, I didn't actually realise this was posted. What I meant to ask was: when editing characters in the Fallout 4 wiki, should we include race as was done in Fallout 3? Princess, for example, is listed as Caucasian, as are most articles I have come across. I have not seen this done in the Fallout 4 articles. Is there a reason for this?

You know, it’s funny. Before Bethesda’s Fallout 3 was released, the Internet had a massive, throbbing hateboner for NMA. The traditional Fallout followers saw the drastic alterations that Bethy made to the series, and basically, they said, ‘We dislike these new alterations. We’d prefer having the core formula conserved.’ And everybody responded to this with ‘OMFG u just want the same game over and over again!!!! YOU HATE INNOVATION!!!’ Yet here we are with Fallout 4, which conserves the core mechanics of Fallout 3—we have the ‘same game’—and I don’t see any Fallout 3 lovers complaining. (Hell, even the plot is identical; they just switched a couple of words around.) The only reason why they welcomed these ‘innovations’ was because they sui…

Hello and thank you for choosing to read my blog. Before we start, I will say that I started this blog when the Wiki did not have all of the information on Fallout 4, so some of the information may be added by the time I've finished. Anyway, let's start.

Building a base is an essential part of Fallout 4; with the new settlement system, you can build houses, towns, villages with working power, water features and farms. All of this sounds good, but then there's the question; where do you build your base?

Two good places where you could set up base are close to the entrance of Vault 111: Sanctuary Hills and Red Rocket truck stop. Sanctuary Hills is available right from the start, and has several ruined houses that you can scrap and rebuild on. …

    Smooth sailing?

November 12, 2015 by The Elder Geek

It's finally here. After nearly five years of impatience, false teasers, and endless speculation, Fallout 4 is finally on the scene.

Although I personally will not be able to purchase a copy of the game until Christmas, that isn't going to stop me from watching numerous playthroughs of the game on YouTube, AND reading multiple game reviews.

Out of the reviews I've read so far, many of them point out the amount of bugs and glitches in the current game world (which I know is to be expected) but none of them really described in detail how severe the glitches were, if they even were at all.

So I've taken to asking you, dear community, how bad exactly are glitches and bugs in Fallout 4?

Are they barely noticeable? Or are they flying mammoth levels …

Before starting to edit the articles, please read this notice thoroughly. This is only a reminder to everyone that wants to edit to know *how-to* edit; to keep some professionalism and making sure the reader is not confused by how the content is looking. Anyhow:

    • No usage of "you" or "player", only "player character" or "Sole Survivor". You aren't in the game, but your player character, Sole Survivor, is.
    • Try to word in objective manner. Subjectivism has no place here, especially in the form of strategies. There are a lot of ways to complete certain quests or kill creatures.

    Fallout Loot Crate Unboxed

    November 6, 2015 by Agent c

I'll stick these in the news blog when foxy and I get around to doing it but I and NukaTurtle had our Fallout 4 Lootcrate arrive this afternoon...

Eagle eyed spotters will notice on the right hand side, it says that this bobble head is good for 1 Attribute boost, or 10 skill points.... But Fallout 4 doesn't have skill points...

...And no, it can't be a leftover box from Fallout 3 or New Vegas as the vault number on the other side of the box is clearly 111.

Was the absence of skills a late decision, or was it even guarded from the marketing team? Or am I overreading a simple error? Agent c (talk) 17:52, November 6, 2015 (UTC)

I was watching a talk show a while ago (The Talk, by the way), which I don't normally do, since such "talk shows" give me a headache. Anyway, on there was about a segment of Tori Spelling being on some sort of "truth or dare" game show, where she was asked a question about something and she admited that she had slept with her costars of 90210. Everyone on the talk show was all agog, and I was like "Seriously? You guys are surprised?" I would be surprised if someone said they didn't do

    A Fallout MMO?

November 4, 2015 by The Elder Geek

I have another question for the community. This comes from the mouth of an avid World of Warcraft player:

"If Bethesda or some other third-party company ever developed a Fallout MMO, would you play it? Why or why not?"

Okay, so I am aware that there have been a few websites and mods that have attempted to do this sort of thing over the years since Fallout 3's release, but from what I know, none of them have been that successful.

But can you imagine if Fallout 4 was an MMO? With the new ability to create settlements and such, imagine how significantly different the game would play...

    Survivor factions anyone?

Feel free to post your opinion in the comments, you are entitled to it, and I won't senselessly hate on you if it differs from mine.

With just one week left now until launch, I figure now would be as good a time as any to do my next part. Originally, I was going to do make three parts but as I would imagine most people are familiar with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, I decided I'd combine them into one part and create a sequel showdown instead for a different experience.

Fallout: New Vegas was released two years after Fallout 3. As of such, much of New Vegas' gameplay can be considered to be largely a refinement over Fallout 3's. One of the improvements I think was the extensive crafting and weapon modification system added to New Vegas to create all manners of food, medicine and to pimp out your guns. In Fallout 3, the only way you could have mods on weapons was if y…
