A bag is a miscellaneous item in Fallout and Fallout 2 and a cut item in Fallout Tactics.
Characteristics
A bag can be used to organize the contents of the player character's inventory. It can contain any items that total less than about 20 lbs, but cannot contain larger items such as armor.

Fallout
- Katrina in Shady Sands has one.
- Another one can be found inside Gizmo's Casino in Junktown, on a bookshelf in his personal room.
- One in Jon Zimmerman's basement in Adytum.
- A unique bag can be found in the Los Angeles Vault, on the top floor in a locker.
- Random encounters on the coast sectors.
Fallout 2
- The only bag in the entire game is in Modoc's caves, in the bottom-left tip of the crescent formed by the rat's nest.
Notes
Items that are involved in the original games' quests cannot be checked inside containers properly, such as these or the back pack.
