The arc welder is a weapon in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Lonesome Road.

CharacteristicsEdit

The arc welder is essentially an electrostatic discharge gun using electron charge packs, capable of shooting a constant, high-voltage stream of lightning. It does bonus damage against robots (+8) and power armor (+4), excluding NCR salvaged power armor. With it equipped, the Courier wears a backpack with similar texture to the weapon itself, akin to the flamer.

DurabilityEdit

The arc welder can fire a total of about 1245 times using standard packs, the equivalent of 42 reloads, from full condition before breaking.

The arc welder is considered a unique class of weapon, and therefore cannot benefit from the Jury Rigging perk.
