Anchorage was a city in the state of Alaska.
Background
In the winter of 2066, Anchorage was taken over by China. The Anchorage Front Line became a battleground. On January 10, 2077, the United States took back Anchorage and began its counter-invasion of China.

The town was reduced to ruins by conventional, and possibly nuclear, warfare.
The Brotherhood of Steel's influence stretched as far as Alaska, and became their new headquarters. Whether Anchorage was in their control is unknown.

Appearances
Anchorage appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on Operation: Anchorage, but the player cannot go to Anchorage itself and is only seen from some cliffs. Anchorage is also mentioned in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3 and its add-on Mothership Zeta, Fallout 4 and its add-on Automatron, and the canceled Van Buren. It was also to appear in the canceled Fallout Extreme.
