Alien ship is a special encounter in Fallout. If the player looks inside the crashed UFO, he will find various gears, including an Alien blaster and a Velvet Elvis portrait.

Alien Ship is also an encounter in Fallout: New Vegas. The ship can be found hovering low above the northern ridgeline and is unreachable. However, below the ridgeline, you will encounter three hostile aliens; one of them is "Alien Captain". This Captain may drop the Alien Blaster and ammo if you have taken the Wild Wasteland Perk prior to the alien encounter. The others have laser weapons and may drop the Tri-Beam laser rifle.

Overview

Here you can find a crashed UFO and two aliens, one that carries an alien blaster and another with the Velvet Elvis.

Behind the scenes

The UFO says "Property of Area 51, return if found" on it. Area 51 is a military base in the Nevada desert in USA, where conspiracy theorists believe the United States government conducts experiments on aliens and alien technology.
