Specialist Akers was a former member of the U.S. Army guarding the scientists and staff of the X-8 research center before the Great War.
Background
One day, a strange creature was let loose in the X-8, and it killed Akers, and attempted to swallow him. However, the scientists described Akers as a large man, and the creature choked to death attempting to do so.
